I'm after getting a LCD TV (Bit sick of using a 14" crt for everything...) mainly for movies, but will also get my Xbox and PS2 on there. Probably going to get a 360 again shortly too. I'm will be getting a HD as I'm happy with standard DVDs at the moment and don't get any HD TV services - does HD gaming and upscaling DVD players make that much of a difference? Thinking about EDTV - how much better/worse is it than regular LCD screens and HD screens respectively? Are the cheaper brand LCDs (Acoustic solutions, crown, orion etc) much worse than the more established brands? I have about £200-250 to spend and think anything up to 30" is what I'm looking at - any specific recomendations? Sound/inputs will be routed through a Cambridge Audio home cinema reciever. PC input would be a plus.
