Greetings! Today I received a Twin Famicom, and am having some graphical issues with it. For example, in Wanpaku Graffiti, the first levels colors are obviously off, when compared to screenshots below:

Should I be looking directly at the PPU as the source of this, or could something else be wrong?
I should note that I'm using a third party power supply that was suggested over on Nintendo Age.

This is the adapter I'm using. It's powering the console just fine and I don't see any issues with it itself.

Are you using composite? The colors aren't going to match emulator colors.

Edit: Since you just received it, I guess that was a dumb question, heh.

Hey, thanks for the response! Wow, so the colors could really be that different? That seems pretty drastic, but I have no idea. I replaced nearly all the caps in the system for the hell of it, but that didn't seem to affect anything.

You'll get a better comparison if you look around for original hardware captures via composite video to compare it to. And yeah, the various NES color palettes out there can vary fairly drastically.

No problem, have fun. If you're displeased with the composite output, you could always consider RGB modding it.
