Well written (and acted) shows have it tough with reality shows sucking up nearly all eyes and ears. I fear that LPs and reality shows will put the nail in the coffin for quality TV, or make it more rare than it already is.
Well some channels have been showing shit-TV for years anyway. MTV is just looking for the cheapest thing to run, and LPs are basically free.
