The police... Ok not so funny! but it was the best i had right now... What do you say to a chav at the peak of their career? "Big Mac and fries please" What do you call a Chavette in a white tracksuit? The bride. :smt043
What the hell is a chav and a chavette? :smt017 I've heard the police one before, but the people being driven were of an ethnic group easily understood the world over, and I think there was some sort of racial slur involved too....
Sorry its more of a british thing... http://www.chavscum.co.uk/howto.html This site might give you more of an idea...
Err, that's odd, as that descrption matches the preppie crowd here in the US - not quite the ones to be picked up by the cops a lot or anything... :smt017
See a difference is your preppie crowd run oround in daddys BMW with a £10,000 cash card. Here they run around buying up fake clothes, smooking weed, trying to look hard and robbery! Hence they arent very much liked!
Burberry-wearing muppets are all over the place these days. Mostly just cheeky kids with too much time on their hands. I don't know about the jewelery that site reckons they're wearing though, maybe that hasn't reached my area yet.
Stay away from the Argos jewelery counter when it starts... Burb is old news... evisu is old news the new rage is von dutch...
Paulo: just to be correct the joke with the "chav" is a racistic joke and instead of saying a black guy you say a "chav" ? and it is not a flame start but i know the joke so i am just maybe explaining what a "chav" is
I don't think CHAV means black guy. It's just a word used to describe the low lives of the UK. You know, the scum, the brain dead, the Fifa fans :smt043 Anyway, before I met Importaku I had never heard of this word. He told me it was used for anyone that resembled those in the above list. In Liverpool where I originally come from they are called Scallies or is that spelt Scallys? Who knows and who cares ! Anyway, I normally call those people Gob Shites :smt033 Because that's what they are. Yakumo
Someone should tell the lads in my town that, they've not yet made a full transition to Burberry. We're kind of out of the beaten track of fashion here though, mid-Wales just doesn't have its finger on the pulse ^_^ Incidentally, "chavs" round here are generally called townies, scallies, or "fucking arseholes" if you've got any sense.
