I read about that game in a magazine. It should be the first and only first person shooter for the Game Boy Color.

unfortunately I heared nothing about a release. I heared the developer had problems to find a publisher.

Does someone know if the game was ever released or if a playable beta is available?

btw, here are some nice screenshots :)

Sigh, this is another sore point for me, just like Resident Evil...another game I really wanted to see come out. Another game made worthless by Gameboy Adavance's release.

Looks like "3D Monster Maze" to me. It's a ZX81 home computer game from like... 1981 I think. Apparently in an interview with the guys who did this, they say they were actually influenced by 3DMM.

    EDIT:
    HERE and

I looked into this game a while ago, and was unable to find any videos (ign's was already missing) or a dump of it. Too bad about it being canned, it looked quite good and was complete or near it as well from what I read.

Looks like a rootin', tootin', dinosaur shootin' game! Maybe it could be ported to the DS or GBA with better graphics or something.

Don't worry folks, you can get your Game Boy FPS fix by playin Faceball 2000!

You know...I'd think somebody would release it...I mean, I imagine they were pretty proud of it.

I talked to someone at the developer (Slitherine). They said they would love to release a rom, but they sold the right to Eidos years back and Eidos just sat on it.

I'm sure copies exist, just gotta find who might have one...

Revives this Ancient thread =P ! I wish this was released it looks amazing for a GBC game ! I have contacted Slitherine myself about this game perhaps they can change their mind after all this time or at least put up a video of its gameplay on Youtube because IGN has somehow lost the video

This project looks forever dead due to legal reasons Slitherine software cannot release the ROM and they do not have the hardware to get the game working no more :(

Looks quite nice for a portable doom-like game. Would love to play someday!

Try to convince them to send a video of it in action, brendand.

I honestly wish you luck, I did not receive a single artwork after all the trouble I went to hunt contacts from the Planet of The Apes development team in my first try to preserve earlier builds of the game.
