Alreet peeps.... as it appears that I am unable to do anything right and slinging my soldering iron and would like people recommendations for a reliable modder or repair guy based in t uk... I have a selection of consoles in various states of repair and it's making me sad that I only seem to fuck them up worse than they are... Cheers peeps!!
Cheers peeps... I bought some chips off him ages ago and still haven't installed them yet! Will send him a message...
Well... here's the list!!! 1st gen megadrive one - I've put a single switch region mod but sprites corrupt on 60hz mode would like it checked... Pal snes - multi region 60hz switch and de yellowing... Pcengine - region mod and cap replacement Pcengine crdom - full cap replacement, possibly new laser as cds don't spin (I replaced the broken plastic wheel and tried the wire fix for the laser moving thingy) Pcengine IFU - RGB mod Pal Dreamcast - install a region mod chip (already purchased from badad) Jp Saturn - mod chip (again, already purchased from badad) also have 3 non working Saturn's I haven't decided what to do with... Pal toaster NES - rgb & region mod Famicom - rgb mod, plus fixing as I don't know if it works or not... started an av mod but didn't have the right cap... N64 - rgb mod and if poss a region free 60hz mod (if there is one!) I also have a stack of gameboys in various states of repair which is what has made me lose confidence in my soldering skills... I need to rebuild my confidence with a few more projects before I start doing it all again... There's probably more but I can't remember them at the minute... they're kind of the important ones for my potential retro/indie gaming youtube channel....
