As you guys mentioned, sadly it was from 2004 ... I still found the whole backstory incredibly interesting though!

 

Indeed, it certainly puts into contrast where we have come in the past few decades.

 

I have this queued up for tonight, preferably with a good glass of wine. Those of you that post these documentaries, please keep them coming! I thrive on this stuff.

 

It's not really a documentary, but check out the YouTube channel "playvalue" they have a series called Play Value with a lot of episodes dedicated to video game history. You could probably find a lot better documentaries out there but they're fun to watch.
