    SOLD

Images now up! Payment on collection or BT (bank transfer). Purchaser is responsible for transportation, but I can hold the cabinets (once paid for) for a couple of weeks whilst a courier is organised.

Both units come with their plastic marquee holders!

    1 x Egret II (Actually, it's a 2.5 (IC09)). * SOLD * Alphagamer
This unit is in reasonable condition, but if you prefer minty fresh then it's probably not for you. It has a few scratches and scrapes, but I rebuilt this unit today using a different monitor so there is NO screen burn. This monitor does have a tiny chip about 1mm in size, but not noticeable when playing. Screen bright & crisp! I also swapped the metal chassis for a different one so the paint work on the unit is much better than previously mentioned. New sticks and buttons (Sanwa). As it's a 2.5 it doesn't have a rotate mechanism or the genuine Egret II monitor bezel. Instead it has the chunkier Atomiswave style black monitor bezel. However, it is complete & fully functional. No step down is provided with this unit

If you are unfamiliar with the difference between original Egret II and 2.5 it's that the original has a rotate mechanism, however the 2.5 has a tri-sync monitor instead, plus better connectors on the loom for control panel. So what you lose on the swings you gain on the roundabout! ;)

Please note, the Taito F3 motherboard & Puzzle Bobble 2 cart are NOT included (they belong to the wife!)

Anyway, the images speak for themselves!

    £450.00 ovno

1 x Atomiswave SD includes FREE Atomiswave motherboard & Neowave "King of fighters" game included. * SOLD * Jamtex - pending paymentThis unit is in VGC (some of the artwork on sides has strapping damage due to an idiot delivering it to my place) which also scraped the paint work, hence with this item I am throwing in the free stuff to compensate. However, the actual cabinet is in beautiful condition. The screen has no screen burn and overall it's a very good example of Atomiswave cabinet. Comes complete with a brand new 2P panel with 6buttons. This panel was recently purchased from Andy and only been used a couple of times. It looks minty fresh and lovely! I'm throwing in a FREE Atomiswave motherboard & game (Note that as they are FREE, asking for them to be removed does NOT reduce the price of this unit in any way). Fully functional & gorgeous... mmmm! No step down is provided with this unit

    £550.00

Why don't I live in the UK? :banghead:

I would like that Egret II, but shipping will totally kill the deal.

If I had not just moved into my own flat a month ago I would be on this in a snap. Someone is going to get a very nice cab/s.

It was GebruderWeiss that did mine, dunno if they operate in Deutschland and Davies Turner, their UK partner, are clueless, but I know it can be done for around 160-180 euro

Atomiswave & Naomi SD bought by same person and dealt with in Naomi SD thread.

    Egret II however...

Ready for collection on Monday. Courier has organised collection.

If they manage to damage it, then here is an image as proof - grab it and store it for future reference. Everything 100% A OK at this end. Remember it's 100vac and not European - you will need a step down before plugging it in. Japanese plug included INSIDE the cabinet.

    Thank you and enjoy ;)

As I said, I hope my 200w MINWA step down is sufficient :)

Cabs typically run at 150w don't they?

Looking to get an Astro end of the month.

It's just like a disclaimer I always attach so that if anyone buys a Japanese item from me and they come back and say "You never told me....now it's fried!"

It should be, but I know that a variety of Japanese candy cab owners have discussed their transformers etc on Arcade Otaku. It seems that some step downs can cause minor problems. Trial and error it would appear, although some have particular favourites. See how you get on and if you do encounter issues, then I am positive AO members will give you advice!

Japanese Candy Cabs like 100-110vac...

The step down is fuse protected, I think nothing will take damage.

Man, I am hyped for this thing to arrive, although I don't even know yet where I will put it, lol. Maybe I will need to get rid of my Naomi due to space issues. I wanted an Egret II in the first place, but then this Naomi crossed my path :)

I'll be running it off a single phase off a three phase supply (should be 115v), so won't have issues with wattage...

Step downs on cabinets can be funny, as the monitor will draw a lot of current when they first switch on before falling back to normal. A cheap PSU might blow the fuse constantly on this. I'd recommend a 300W supply, they aren't expensive.

I've got a 500W Minwa convertor for my Egret II. Prior to the purchase the owner told me that every time the monitor is degaussed (=every time you switch on an Egret II, hence auto-degausse) the PSU can draw up to 300 Watts of power, thereforce I will need a 500W stepdown. I wouldn't rely on a 500W tbh, not with such an expensive piece of hardware.

500W convertors can be bought on ebay for 40 Euros shipped. The Minwa models also include a second connector so you can run at least two 110V devices with it.

Do you mean 200W rather then 500W? Generally the worse that will happen is the transformers fuse will blow (make sure your step down is fused...), if it does on start up then a slow blow fuse will generlally solve that problem. A 300W will be fine as that is what I use for arcade machines when I can't use three phase, or I use a 500W to run two machines. The extra money for "piece of mind" is a waste in my opinion...

Most modern arcade machines have a ton of fuses in them, so the chances of damaging the machine are minimal. Just make sure you see what fuses your machines requires and have some spare. Once I get the Atomiswave I will convert it to 230V use.

    Yeah, right.^_^

300W convertors cost 10-15€ less than a 500W device. I don't think it makes much sense to save 10 bucks of a total price of 35-45 Euros since most of the <500W convertors don't have two power outs as well. You'd have to use a splitter for that and there it goes circumstancial >_<
