If you imported one from japan, Did you get hit with customs fees - let me know in the poll

If so, let me know how much, As i'm planning to order one next month, but not if I'll end up paying about £50 to HM C&E.

i think you only pay if they ship with fancy companys.. like fedex, dhl, ups... but if you use airmail or ems you dont... atleast thats what alot of spanish bastards say @ elotrolado.net

 

I didn't with psp from japan, however I got hit with around 25% of stated price (which was around £380) for my ps1 dev kit, £89.18 it came to.
Ouch.

 

You will probably pay customs if you order from Lik-Sang etc because they'll write the full value of the item on the parcel. My on the other had writes anything you want

It's just very tempting - lik-sang have dropped their prices again, its £150 for the value pack, which i expect will be the price when released over here...

 

Got mine in the uk... and its better getting it from yakumo then getting it frm lik sang.

Here's my prices but before you go "What a F*cking ripoff" remember that I ship these with EMS postage which takes 3 to 4 days to reach you. Lik-Sangs prices don't include postage plus you know they'll rip you off once they add it.

PSP Value Pack = 176 pounds / 332 US Dollars / 254 Euros
PSP Value Pack with Ridge Racer = 208 pounds

PSP Normal Pack = 150 pounds / 284 US Dollars / 217 Euros
PSP Normal Packb with Ridge Racer = 182 pounds

I will let you know once GSL Heavy Industries ships my unit, but to be honest, I would rather pay £132.86 (or whatever) plus postage, something for GSL's time and customs fee's than wait until September the 1st (European launch date apparently) and pay £180 (€249) (European price)

I did the same with the DS, and after such a dissapointment, I am glad I didn't pay the £90 odd it costs here.

Bloody hell, it is £180 over here. Yakumo direct'll be getting my order, when i can muster up the cash....
