Famitsu has just posted the news and has some screenshots too. Due for spring 2008. I'm really looking forward to this one since I never played either the SFC or the PS game. Browsing through the text it says "additional stages" which means it's a port/remake of the PS version maybe. Still, very exciting to see this title come out.
Remake of Umihara Kawase Shun (unfortunately). Great game... why won't they make a proper sequel? FYI, "Second Edition" has extra stages as well, and costs about 3x as much as the original these days. Kind of a lame upgrade to be honest. But, it's the PSP. They're waiting until 2009 to release original games for it apparently.

The game is dated for march 08. Famitsu site has clean images already. I'm heavly looking forward to this one.
I loved the SFC game but never got around to playing the PSX version. The music in the SFC original is also pretty cool. I have 3 of the tracks on my phone as ring tones. They actually sound better than the original SPC versions :thumbsup: Yakumo
I've got some super plays of it around here. Absolutely fucking sick. The longest any one of the videos is is about 30 seconds.
ehy! that hurts! it's been almost impossible to get imports in my country at least until '94-96 and the few cost something 1/4th of a salary... took a look at it on gamengai... doesn't seem too bad, but not my kind of game... also no western releases, right?
