I'm unable to reposition my cursor correctly, once my reply gets long enough and I have to scroll. Until the need to scroll surfaces, I can correctly reposition my cursor to any part of my reply. Once I need to scroll, the cursor seems to always appear at some part at the top of the reply whenever I attempt to reposition it to some part of the reply further down, making it impossible to write long replies properly. This only happens while I am using the mobile version of AssemblerGames. So far, everything else has been quite pleasant (especially the performance!). My phone might be reponsible actually, but I think that it's best for me to highlight and discuss this issue here instead of making speculations. My phone is a cameraless smart phone, called the INO ONE. It's running Android v4.0.3 and I am using the stock Android browser. It has fairly mediocre specifications (1GHz single-core with 512MB of RAM), but I don't have much better alternatives that do not have a camera. Using external browsers (e.g. Chrome) usually doesn't end well (brower will be sluggish in response), which I presume is because of this phone's lack of processing power and RAM. I got this phone because I'm still carrying out my service to my nation, and I do not want to have to store my phone (with integrated camera) in a locker before entering restricted areas.
It might be the version of Android you're using (and phone). 4.0.3 (Ice Cream Sandwich) was released in 2011. The equivalent age iOS would be iOS 5, I believe - and you'll find nothing will run on that any more. Could you post a screenshot? You could try using the other theme and seeing if it helps.
As @retro said it could be down to the specs of your phone sadly. XenForo uses a lot of jQuery which older phones struggle with. Even my old Xperia SP from 2013 struggles and that has 1GB ram. Could you also state which theme you were on? There could also possibly a small bug that hasn't been spotted. Thanks
I was on the red/black theme. I have switched over to the white theme, but the issues still persist. I jist noticed that the inability to reposition my cursor correctly in a long reply, is only one problem. If you study the attach ed screenshot, the autocorrect prompt is missing and so is the tab that allows me to drag to reposition the cursor. When I begin a new sentence, the first letter of the word is not automatically capitalized either. Finally, the text box does not automatically scroll whenever the new line goes out of the visible region of the text box. In the atrached screenshot, I was unable to reposition the cursor to the end of the message. Whenever I tap at the position at the end of the message, the cursor would appear in the spot that you can see in my screenshot.
