So the Uncharted 4 beta is underway this weekend and I was just wandering what people on here thought? I'm a pretty big fan of the series and I put so many hours into U2 online (my favourite in the series by far) First thoughts of the online experience wasn't great. I know it's a beta but it felt a little dated on the first few plays. The 3rd games online experience was a bit of a mess if I'm honest and whilst 4 seems to have sorted a few problems out it has created a load more. Lag was all over with the new option to buy upgrades mid game (mainly coming from the body protectors) I really wanted a more simplified online experience similar to U2 but U4 doesn't seem to be that. What does everyone else on here think?
I enjoyed it quite a bit and it was actually really smooth for me so I had a fun few hours. I haven't touched 3 in a few years and 2 in much longer so there isn't much for me to say there but U4 seemed to me like it tried to cut out some things that were present in U3's online(maybe in a attempt to be closer to 2?). Seems to me like they wanted it to feel like a mix between 2 and 3 but it just ends up being a mix between U3 lite and something else entirely. That isn't a bad thing per say and I enjoy the game but maybe they could've pulled it off better. Overall it was a good experience.
