I've posted a couple random videos around, but I should probably keep it all in one thread to make it more tidy. Basically I want to provide a look at uncommon gaming items that most people wouldn't normally get to see in person. I've seen some videos on the internet, but sometimes they leave me with more questions, or they don't really show the item in that much detail. Now my collection isn't the greatest, but I will share and acquire whatever I can afford. If you have any input let me know. I know I'm certainly no professional videographer/editer, but I definitely try to make things look at nice as I can. One thing I know I need is some proper lighting, working on that. First video is one I've done recently for the PSP testing kit. I will definitely speak up in the next video.. This video features a look at the kit, a brief look inside, and some games, including two I haven't dumped yet.
These next videos cover the "Hyper Fighting" homebrew for the Virtual Boy. This is basically a port of the 16 bit Street Fighter 2 games. They were up for sale privately in the Virtual Boy community in very small numbers, though never publicly for sale. I made an overview video of the whole game, and a video of emulated gameplay to show a clearer look. I've since figured out how to video the real console without flickering, so I shouldn't need to emulate VB games for decent footage anymore. Review: Clearer gameplay footage:
You know I was waiting for that =P If it's any consolation I very rarely do that anymore, kind of slipped into an old habit for that clip.
Last video for today covers the Virtual Boy store demo unit. While these aren't impossible to find on their own, apparently the clip on sign I got with mine is extremely rare to come across. Makes sense, I would assume most retailers just threw them out when they were done with them
Cool videos ! Feel free to do more with other hardwares you have, it was interesting. (now I'll be stalking for the psp-dvd dumps )
I will definitely be making more videos and posting them in this thread. Also, when I get around to dumping the PSP discs they'll end up in the Download section here.
Virtual Boy Homebrewer M.K. sent me a test rom to show off. It mostly contains music that he's made, but it also has a SNES Mouse test (which I can't test without a VB to SNES Adapter), and a certain music video that gets lots of homebrew attention If you'd like to skip the music go to 12:40. Disclaimer: I have been asked not to share this rom, so please don't ask.
Just showing off a couple Pre production PSP UMDs Space Invaders: Extreme (Build date: May 16 2008) Lemmings (Build date: Nov 22 2005)
