Like the great Fry said: D&D doesnt makes you cool By extension, this applies to WoW too. Me? I know I'm cool: I play a RTS from 7 years ago, that hasnt been updated for Win7 or Vista and that wont EVER see a sequel
I don't know if D&D makes you cool but with good company and a DM with inspiration in stories, nice sense of humor and not strict with following the rules letter by letter like some D&D freaks who ruin the joy it's pure fun. And it's much more entertaining than lifeless MMORPG. Noob question: Who is Fry?
And thats exactly the problem: you dont know futurama. I'll spare you the details, go and get bender's game, thats the futurama movie/episodes devoted to bender the robot getting obsessed about D&D, almost killing himself (or itself?) and thats when Fry says "D&D wont make you cool" It's a joke, dont take it seriously
I thought it was awesome. Of course a real undead wouldn't be phased by this, but I could see broken legs being pretty common when your bones aren't exactly in the best shape. Regardless, MMOs are the wrong corner of video games for me.
Of course I know Futurama. I just don't remember the characters' names. Althought I haven't seen many episodes I have seen this movie with the D&D parody with my friends. I guess I'll see it again. Btw, Bender is my favourite character is Futurama. :033: He was the main reason I was watching Futurama.
I'm not good with remembering names (I remembered Bender's name after looking at Wikipedia). After all, it's been many years since I last saw Futurama.
