If this is against the rules, mods, feel free to close it. I'm trying to get an invite to www.underground-gamer.com. If anyone has one they can spare that would be great.
We have a topic just for invites actually! http://assemblergames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16068 Even though it does not get much attention, if any at all.
Wow, that site looks awesome, I'll have to give a try... EDIT: I'm in, I didn't think it was so easy!
^not so much. I want old PC games, although I guess it depends on what your definition of "pirate" is... Got it, thanks guys.
hmmm yeah I got an invite too. But it looks like, they are capping non donating peoples upload speed. Since I am getting upload speeds there between 0.1 kbs and 0.5++ (every now and then a bit more) kbs, and on all other trackers. My upload speed is mighty compared to their private tracker. Maybe I am unlucky, but still it does smell a bit fishy. And I am not normally complaining. I am just wondering bigtime. Since I really want to seed bigtime.
Don't suppose anyone else has a spare invite for lil old me? I've tried the IRC chat but no one is willing :-/
I have 4 invites left.. First come first serve. PM me. I've noticed lately that I cannot upload very fast. I never considered the possibility of it limiting based on donator status. I do know that just about everything on there that is established is well seeded vs. leecher ratio which is a big factor. The other reason may be that their tracker gives priority to the longest connected seeders first. (Just speculation on that last part) I have a 6.094 ratio that I got seeding a lot last year.. The thing to do is just wait till there is a golden weekend where it's free to download and 2x the credit to upload. Get what you want and then just continue to seed as long as you have space.
Couple more invites to go around. I forgot to mention I need a valid email adress to put into their invite request form. So if you want an invite you will have to PM me a proper email address.
All my invites are used up for the moment.. Once the last batch of people finish registration I may get more in the next day or so.
What you're suggesting is impossible for a tracker to impose on clients. Most likely the problem is the torrent you're attempting to seed is already well seeded or the leechers connected are actually people who have some files set to "Do not download," which means their client won't report them as seeders even though they're seeding the torrent partially.
