I need to recap a home teather and I want to buy the caps I need from a reputable seller (like Distrelec, Farnell or RS). Postage costs are high, compared to the costs of the capacitors so I would like to buy an extra stash of caps with the most common values/types when I need to do random repairs (mostly recapping of old consoles/devices/power supply). In the past I bought capacitor kits from aliexpress or amazon but I am aware that often they are selling fakes. Even aliexpress caps are ok for a quick fix but, if I spent time to repair something, I would like to be sure that the repair will lasts for long.

So, I am looking for suggestions: what are the most common type/values of caps that I could find useful in repairing old gaming equipment?

You are never going to get a universal kit. But very common values are 10uf, 22uf, 47uf, 100uf, 220uf, 470uf, 1000uf and 2200uf

I know, I could have hundreds of different values and there will be always one missing :)

What voltages do you suggest for those values?
