Universal Sega Saturn modchips

I need installation advice on this mod chip. I have a Model 2 64 Pin IC. Thought I had this installed correctly but I receive no laser activity when chip is in place.

Update:
Item works great! Sometimes the simplest things can goof a installation. I had the ribbons installed incorrectly. I was fooled like the countless others. When in doubt check your ribbons!

Just installed 1 of 5 I bought from Ape. Work's flawlessly. Did a 64 pin oval button model 2.

 

saw your listing earlier. Does an oval model 2 exist thou ? It looks like a model 1 to me.

No problem. I thought it was a model 1 too until i tried to stick the 21 pin cable from it into the 20 pin model 1 side of the chip,

 

There is a small over lap of "model2" boards in model 1 cases.

Quick update, been really busy with classes and work so PM replies have slowed down. At this point I'm only shipping *once* a week as the post office closes roughly as I get done with my day and like most of you I don't want to have to rush back out the door to ship one small package.

As of right now I'm suspending shipping internationally as transit times are taking exactly what I'd expect for first-class mail and everyone is being impatient with it. Yes I understand everyone wants their modchips as fast as possible but when I warn you that going with non-Priority can take two months and I start to get accusations of not having shipped stuff out after two weeks my patience starts to wear thin. This basically means that unless you're ordering a sizable number of chips you won't find buying from me cost effective. To international customers with outstanding packages: I'll continue to work with you until either you get your chip or we mutually agree that a refund is in order.

Anyone outside the US should consult Zer0 for their Saturn modchip needs. More than happy to continue domestic transactions.

 

Damn just read the last post about no international. Just sent you a PM Ape about getting a few. If it helps I am not fussed about the shipping time. USA to Australia is not normally bad anyway.

I will do international on a case by case basis but I can't do it with untrackable methods anymore. I've lost at least 5 chips to Europe and my profit margins aren't exactly huge. I'm not interested in gouging the community nor attempting to pay my rent this way rather date money (haha yeah right) or food for my rodents.

 

I feel very sad. Just paid around 100 dollars for a fully modded Saturn... I could have saved nearly 80 bucks...
