I got those some time ago basically for the sega sticker on one of those but don't really have a clue on what are these used for and for which machine?
It's a in-circuit emulator, a developer / engineer tool, probably an older version of this: http://www.yokogawa-digital.com/en/advicePRO/ One model that looks like yours: http://www2.yokogawa-digital.com/support/_lib_tpl/advice_info/popup_05.html
Sticker says "Unit name: Emulator 68000 ADVICE" and the date it was purchased. It's used for "ICE" or In Circuit Emulation. A debugging technique where you simulate the behavior of the processor to gain control over the hardware. That allows you to single step, step backwards, inspect or change memory addresses. It's basically like run a game in MAME with the debugger window open so you can snoop into what the processor is doing while running the program. That was how bugs were investigated on debugging/test builds of games back then.
Thanks for the info. Do you know if there is a 'manual' for that kind of stuff,i am curious to test these in some way...
Sadly I have no idea how you can find information about it. I would suggest you try mailing Yokogawa and ask them if they would have any information about their old hardware.
Seen Intel ICEs before but I never knew there was one for the 68000. Very cool to see the pictures of these.
SH2 ICE probes are part of the Sophia development kit (SEGA Saturn). You can expect that any CPU out there has a set of ICE probes for them.
