Unknown British Video Games TV Show 90s… Good day! Back in 1995-1997 (I think), I used to watch an English Video Games TV show that would last around 30mins (Or less) and it was voiced by an English girl with a beautiful voice and nice humor. It was not Gamesmaster, as it was not presented by any people live on camera, only voiced as she presented the games and consoles, accompanied with nice background music. I mainly remember reviews of the SEGA Saturn, PSX, Panasonic 3DO, SNES & Mega Drive and their games. At the end of one episode, I remember her saying… “Well this is a girl that’s done her job for today, see you next time†If anyone could name the show and point me to some links on Youtube preferably, I would highly appreciate it! Thanks in advance
I'm thinking it was Cybernet too. There are other game shows hosted by women butyou actually see them on camera so Cybernet is the only one I can think of really. The video link above pretty much concludes it really.
Ahhh I do miss the old 90s video game shows. Gamesmaster was awesome (except the series with Dexter Fletcher). Also used to watch Bad Influence. Good times.
It's not Bits - that was much later and had three on-screen presenters (well, more than three in total), including a friend of mine. The first episode previewed Max Payne, back in 1999. Alexs went on to do Thumb Bandits - obviously too late, and she's American. Gamezville was WAY later than that, even - so it's not that. Bad Influence! was around during that time and certainly covered all those consoles, but that was presented by Violet Berlin and Andy Crane on-screen, so again not just a woman. It also featured Nam Rood in a cupboard, slapping cheat codes on his head. Cybernet would have been a female voice (Lucy Longhurst) originally, yes. If it was just an animated box thing, not a real presenter, then that's your show.
It was Cybernet. retroborg confirmed it on another forum xD http://www.racketboy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=44&t=46514
Cybernet! Yes! That's it! Thanks you so much! I see that it aired from 1995 all the way up to 2010! Wow! I was in love with that girl's voice, Lucy Longhurst! I wanted to marry her!
