Hello everyone, First post on here because I have a friend who has acquired a crystal XBOX controller that is written Limited Edition on the center jewel. Over an hour of research has yielded absolutely nothing about the controller. It doesn't seem to have been bundled with any crystal systems or the Hello Kitty system. I have found ZERO documentation on it. Any information is welcome. Thanks
What is the part number of the controller, does it differ from the other crystal controllers? The 2nd picture has glare, I would assume the "Limited Edition" came with the very first crystal packs or some other retail bundle in the UK or CA?
I have 3-4 of the XBOX crystal controllers with the "limited edition" jewel. In my case they came bundled with XBOX crystal systems from the PAL regions.
Thank you for your input. Do you know if they have any differences in term of reference numbers? As I've stated before, there is absolutely zero information on these out there. Were they for the launch of the crystal systems or did they come sometime later?
If I recall correctly the part number was the same as the regular crystal s-type. However, my memory isn't always great when it comes to these things. I'll get some pictures of the front and back as a reference point for you.
Ive seen the same jewel on a couple crystal xbox's in the past. I imagine they were from a bundle of some kind at some point.
Just checked my "high performance Pack" crystal it doesn't say limited edition on the console and all pics of the controller aare the same as console
Welcome to the boards, The controller came with some Limited Edition Crystal Xbox sets, I believe PAL Crystal Racing Packs and some other sets got it. @HEX1GON would know best.
The one with Limited Edition on the jewel was part of the crystal pack in Australia. Maybe i should just dump my wiki info here? EDIT: I will throwing up all media from the archive tonight. Some unused photos, content others submitted and so on. Hope it's to some use to you.

But are those the limited edition ones, the amazon picture says no. But that is not saying whats for sale isn't.
