    Put it on a more recent PC (with Windows XP PRO) and then get the device PCI ID written down to a piece of paper. Only XP PRO allows for viewing device ID. I am not sure if Vista allows that...

    That should at least help us with figuring out what the device is supposed to do...

    Last time I inserted it in a WinXP pro pc, the system didn't even see there was a card...

    Here's what the prog "Advanced PCI Info" gives on Win98jp:

    Installed cards:

    -> vendor = Altera

    -> not much extra info....

    Does somebody here have high resolution pictures of the boards of the Set 2 & 3 katana dev kits ?

    I've found some pictures of the Arc1a (Set 2), but none that are clear enough to really see what's on the board...
    I din't find anything on Set 3 though... has anybody seen that one ?

    It almost looks like a video capture card with SCSI interface.

    What's the part number of the Fuji chip near the RAM?

    I'm feeling the Katana-vibe, but it seems odd that something of that era would be unknown to people around here.

    The few Katana boards I've seen were also marked 1997.

    Quick question (perhaps partially off-topic), how was Naomi dev done, still on the Katana?
