Regional lock ? Nobunaga Online has HDD DNAS encryption, PS2 ID + HDD ID binding and it also has PURIFY !

HDD binding = The HDD ID (which can also be used as a "keyphrase" along with the iLink ID for the HDD DNAS crypto) is part of an official HDD firmware's module. No official HDD -> no binding, no boot.
PURIFY aka Pure Init = One nasty sanitizer that clears the RAM and screws everything you'd hook to the Kernel.

    Loop x3.

The Crab's MANLIEST protections are probably in there. May the force be with you.

Someone installed the game years ago when the region free'd PSBBN boot kelfs were released. You're still using them even if you're using kHACKen's work for patched ATAD.

But it was a SONY HDD. You won't get it to work without a SONY HDD. That's what DNAS is there for. To prevent you from doing so.

No he means that he cannot install a pkg but I can. It means first part of installation - when game is downloaded and installed from ps2bbn. I can instal it perfectly but he got an error after downloading when installation is initialized.

What's the point of installing a protected PKG if you can't pass the DNAS check and download the encrypted boot files ? That kind of defeats the purpose of installing, no ?

The goal is simple, to find out why the installation akuhak at work (for non-native hard drive) and I have not, and to achieve a normal installation, including what would then dig under the established game :smile-new:

it seems nobunaga and bomberman online dont download anything at all after installation, atleast when installing from the pkg,
as i can easly install both games complettly offline and have the dnasloader and also the SLXX-XXXXX file there.
even though the dnas check at the end fails, behind the scenes, it is not displayed on screen that it fails, it can only be seen through wireshark.
i guess in case of ps-bbn games, the files are in the pkg.
