Yes and no.
It's true that what was referred as Act Remix ( and called Actraiser Gaiden in japanese mags ) would eventually end up as Solo Crisis.
However at first Quintet was developing a remake of the original Actraiser.
While they were half-way done with it they thought that wasn't a game for the users of that epoch ( "current users" ).
So they rewrote it keeping the essence of the creation part of Actraiser.
Interesting enough ,while not being mentioned in the game cause it was published by Sega, Enix was involved in the contract.

Another interesting tidbit: Quintet had about 26 employees around that time.

I wish I had more Consolemania, GamePower etc.
Not that I think they were better than other foreign mags.

Is Joe and Mac in someway related to Chuck Rock? It looks very simular.

 

The Impossible Mission game was released on Amiga as Impossible Mission 2025. Dinosaurs for Hire was definitely released, at least in the US.
