Title says it all. Are we done with the big names after bio force ape? I got a feeling we are at the end of a era.
Finding unreleased games for any platform is never done. Always curious why people would ever assume that then I realize people are typically short sighted... And why the devil do you have the Zodiac killer as your avatar?
Time is running out. Most old systems use eproms that dies after 25+ years. The most wanted unreleased nes games that where in magazines etc. are hunted down. The only 1 that stands out is sim city : a unreleased game that is even on tape. The other 1 is ultimate journey
If kept in good conditions (not in extreme temperatures and out of sunlight) eproms can last longer than 25 years...
Obscure stuff right here. Powerball AD2001 - Megadrive Halloween Capsule - Megadrive - http://www.hardcoregaming101.net/korea/specials/special-lost2.htm#powerball http://www.hardcoregaming101.net/korea/specials/special-lost2.htm#halloweencapsule
I know for a fact the sim city on nes has yet to be released and that was actually finished and a know copy exists on nintendo of america. Other would be "Eric The Viking".
Exactly. Start worrying when every Arcade game or computer that used EPROMs to store program data start failing. While bit rot is a concern, it isn't necessarily a certainty to happen in a given time frame. Plus just because the original dies, doesn't mean that someone in possession of it didn't back it up and/or reprogram it later.
Plenty still out there, many with little to no info. I found Hoppin' Mad, Kitty's Catch, and most recently, Dino Hockey. The first two were unheard of before I got them out there, very little was known about the 3rd. They're still trickling in, no worries there.
