Lol, I should have mentioned that before:banghead:. Anyway, I would think that it would work in any PAL region, it came from my Europe dev kit, which was set to PAL when I first received it, then I switched it to NTSC, and it still works.
Well to bad it comes up with a error when trying to launch it on my Xedk,oh well my Xedk plays just about any other xbox 1 game so I cant complain.I will try it on my modded xbox in a bit.
Yeah, I totally agree! It's not often that such a kind gesture presents itself. You may also start a trend lol <here's hoping> l:icon_bigg It runs in PAL, but for some odd reason it crashes at specific points. Switch to NTSC and it gets past those issues. :thumbsup:

Unfortunatly due to memory usage, there is no way of running it on a retail unit, have tried it by patching the XBE's and also using PBL but dones not work. It does however work on a modded xbox with 128mb upgrade using the pbl method and xdk dash Anyone else had any success running it on retail as yet? Few things ive noted about it so far Although it appears to run using the same game engine than need for speed most wanted, the file structure is completely different, whether this is because it has not been compiled and optimised im unsure of The advantage of this is on the disc there are a HUGE amount of ini files and txt files to edit and mess with and edit, which may or may not improve the stability and framerate in the game, unfortunatly this is beyond my scope, but no harm in messing (as long as you backup the original files first) As Parris and Mike have mentioned running it in NTSC improves the game a lot, this i find strange as the game does seem to be created for use on pal consoles, as all the cut scenes are PAL format I've also discovered that there are some debug commands for use in game, these can be assigned by editing a ini file in \input\xboxpad\ Also to improve the framerate ingame, don't enable any of the skins for the car (thanks goes to Parris for this discovery) as it appears that the textures used are unoptimised will post more ones i've had another mess with it tonight, and details on any modifications to the settings ive done! Nice intro video for "Velocity" It would appear that "Velocity" was the intended title. I was farting around having a look at the various PAL files and stumbled across this. If you've downloaded it, have a quick viewing of the video. Firstly, grab: http://www.radgametools.com/down/Bink/RADTools.exe That's a *.bik reading tool then go into the "Velocity" files and search for file name "In003.bik" Movies > PAL > <filename> Loved the music! ;-) I'm sure by now most of you will have found it, but hey, just thought I would spell it out. Anyway, I love the fact that the placeholder cut scenes are lifted from a film.
Diddydonn, seems you could swap cars in events or even reduce the competition or give them smaller cars This is a pretty pointless post and I shall admit it. I only did it as it's my 2000th - what no fanfare or funky new AG graphic?
