Until Dawn PS3 Build

Hello, this is just a few photos from one of the builds I have of the unreleased version of Until Dawn for the PS3.

A full play through video will be coming as soon as my capture card arrives, but until then enjoy these rather glitchy screenshots I took!

Mods, if the boob photo offends or isn't allowed, let me know and i'll remove it. Just thought it was funny!

I would advise against using Youtube when uploading the full play through video. Chances of a copyright strike are high if using that site lol.

Is this the 2012 Build?

 

I have a build from 2012 and early 2013. This is from 2010.

 

cool, I have a 2010 build also, does this have sound as mine doesn't. menu is different too as i have a option called first publishable that takes me to chapter 3 and crashes on on any chapter select above that. chapter 2 is incomplete also on mine.

 

Yeah this has sound. I've managed to fix up this build and unlock more chapters with a bit of hacking. If you wish, you are more than welcome to let me take a look at it and I can do the same for yours if it's possible. It's just locked off that's all. I wouldn't share it obviously. Feel free to PM me.

 

I'd love to see this! Of course even if it isn't shared, a playthough video would be neat. Love me some Until Dawn

 

Play through video is a definite. So don't worry about that. I have 2 other builds to go through and this game as you probably know has quite a few different choices so I want to capture them all!

 

NICE NIPPLES

(Funny how there are games who actually hid completely made breasts, Dragon age had it for Morrigan on v1.0, and in fact, Mafia's Michelle and Sarah models actually not only have breasts, but the down part texture too).

 

This has the "down part" texture too. Haha.

 

This is super cool. Loved the game when I finally played through it this past halloween. Never knew a PS3 version was in development. Many of these characters look completely different from the final ps4 version which makes me wonder if these were place holder faces or if they changed actors/actresses as the development went on. Cool info! Thanks for sharing

It was actually announced as a PS3 game back in 2012

Looking forward to the video footage. I knew about it originally being for PS3 and I've always wanted to see more of that version.
Hopefully one day the same thing with Shenmue ( Saturn ) and Ico ( PS1 )

 

Maybe I'm the one wondering here.

Of all the games I can think of for the PS3/4, I don't really see the reason they didn't release it on the PS3 with the exception of potential low sales on the system with the PS4 coming soon at the time. Is it just me or do am I the only one that thinks they should have just had 2 versions?

As for the nudity - who cares when there's games with a dude's donger just hangin out from time to time. Nobody ever gets riled up about this, meanwhile you can have a top 10 of that; and there is a top 10 in fact. I'd rather see more games do that more often than show a chest.

I think the development was going slow at the time, also they announced at E3 2012 as a FPS, yet, those screenshots from the older builds show that it wasn't the original idea, meaning that they decided to revert back to the third person system, and it was only released three years later.
