EDITED: Topic updated with the latest HumbleBundle. Did any of you guys seen this? https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd....498_740171399359500_7475811861992634360_n.png I was never really interested on BioShock, but might check it out now. Missed Spec Ops during the summer sale with 83% off as well. Anyway, from those i only have Mafia II. Any ideas what the "locked" games might be? Is it safe to buy using credit card directly? PS: None of these have "extra" DRM like SecuRom or GFWL, right?
Saw it and I'm about to "buy" it Not sure about the locked games, but it never hurts to pay more than the average. Too bad some of these are Steam-only... but that's the way it usually is with big devs. As for paying with CC, I may have done it once (can't remember if they accepted PP when they began these HB) and had no trouble, but I usually prefer PayPal.
I plan on paying more than the average, but i never bought a humble bundle before and have some doubts. The average is currenty $7.67. If for example i pay $8.00 and later the average surpasses it, will i still get the extra game to be unlocked? Also if i plan on gifting any of the games (like Mafia II for example, which i already have) i have to tick the "Is this order a gift"?
Yes. No, but sometimes you don't get separate keys for the games, just one key for the below average games and one for the above average ones.
Yes, it's average price at the moment of purchase. System will warn you during a checkout that you'll not get extra games if you'll enter less than average amount. No, you don't. After purchase you will get your personal page with games activation, and for games which you don't want there is gift link. (I bought that bundle yesterday, each game is separate here)
Humble Bundle is perfectly legitimate. If you pay $8 and they unlock the games tomorrow, or whenever, you get the games added. Technically, they're supposed to be used by you. If you get a bundle where they give you separate keys, you can give a key to someone. However, they don't have to do that! It could be (and has been) a key for ALL the games. And if you already have one, tough luck. You can, however, purchase a second copy as a gift, should you wish. It's a nice bundle, for sure! Not sure whether I'd pay the $20 personally, although it's probably worthwhile if you're really into the games.
.... Humble Bundles are my most bought original PC games beginning as of last year.... They're awesome..
So i finally bought it and linked some of the games to my steam account. The whole process was very simple, was actually quite surprised. Anyway, should i "unlink" my steam account from the humblebundle site for safety or there's no problem to leave it there?
Thought the same thing. It's probably the only one i would be interested but i've seen it countless times for cheap. The 2K Bundle was way better in my opinion.
Not really interested on this bundle as I already bought Just Cause 2 for $2.99 USD. After you bought most of Square Enix games for $15, download Just Cause 2 Multiplayer for free so that we can freeroam with you guys on this forum
well the average for all the other games is over $7, so for an extra $8 you get the extra 5 games which is well worth it imo. For me it works out at £9 total for 15+ games which is a bargain. It's no wonder my steam account has had about 200 games added to it since HB started.
