Download the flash program from the asus web, Copy the program and the bios to a floppy or a usb stick with boot support. Exe the program. Wait. Enjoy :p

Well.. im so old school, you can simply download the asus update software, install it and flash..

Umm, you ARE using an old chip that'll boot, right? You can't update the BIOS with a (as yet) unsupported chip!

Wasted, the AN8 is made by Abit, not ASUS!

Basically, go to the website, download the latest BIOS and download the instructions which should be there, too. Or they'll be in the ZIP with the BIOS.

If the board has BIOS protection, turn it off. Most modern boards will have a Flash tool built in - you press a key to access it. If not, use a boot floppy or CD. You'll determine that by reading the manual - again downloadable from the site if you don't have it.

If possible, don't use a floppy to update, they can be quite unreliable!
