The site might be up and down for the next few days as the new content is loaded. Please be patient. -ASSEMbler
sounds sweet. (except for the down part) is it just a board upgrade? or will there be anything added? (like the start/news page coming back again? :nod
Don't know if it's b\c of the upgrade.. but the forum is acting a bit funny for me.. some old threads can just popup saying that there is unread message in them (has happend a few times). and also on some threads the links to the pages doesn't show up under the thread name.. so I have to click on the name to take me to the first page and then click on the last page to read the new messages. Also, I suddenly got this list at the top of the thread showing all the message.. is this a new feature?
I haven't noticed anything like that but I do have and always have had since the last upgrade a problem with the site not marking things as read. I manually have to do it from a link. Yakumo
I am getting problems when trying to post new threads message to short must be at more than 1 character When it clearly is
The portal is gone, we have several new themes for the forums, and cookie issues have been fixed, other than that, where are the site wide updates? Your old museum is well, getting.....errr..old, and I've yet to see many of these additions to the site, actually come to fruitation. Care to update us on the status of the museum, and other aspects of the site? Ryan
Think ASSEMbler has been very busy lately and given whats been going on in his life i think its best he carries on with the other things he has to do right now instead of having to worry about the forums and site. At least the forums here and still running nicely even if we could fix one or two things.
Yeah, quite. Kevin created this site a loong time ago (what is it, 10 years now?) and has contributed a vast amount of his own time and money to keeping it going and updated. Some of these updates may not be so visible (bug fixing, moving servers etc.) but they're still made! And no matter what state the site is in (forum only, state-of-the-art, an old out-of-date museum) it is still providing you with a FREE service, and has for many years, and is a source of information you just wouldn't have got anywhere else. I would like to thank him for dedicating so much of his time to the site, even through his health problems. I think it is totally understandable that he hasn't been very active on here for a little while, and welcome him back. I'm sure I speak for us all when I say we're glad to see you are at a point where you can devote some time to the site once more. If you ever need a hand with anything, you know how to get hold of me, Kevin!
