So I want to upgrade my 80gb to 320gb on my PS3 as I am running out of space but before I go in to this endevour I would like to know something about backup restores on the PS3.

I did make a backup yesterday to a external usb harddrive but I noticed it just copied my personal accounts (NL, US en JP) but I have some more accounts that are from mates where I have downloaded some games from too, so my question is will the games I have downloaded that were not from my account (allthough I was able to access them from my account after download and install) still be there after the restore? or will I need to add all those accounts again and redownload the games?

Who has any experiance upgrading/backup restoring multiple accounts and installed games that can tell me this?

Now the magic question before I buy the 320 hdd, does anybody have a SATA 2.5" hdd for sale which is bigger the lets say 160gb for a nice price? :)

no clue about multi-accounts but licenses are kept and restore works fine as long as you have the correct username (which you will if you don't system restore) for each licensed game.

Usernames are kept in the PS3's flash, not the HDD, so the multiple accounts shouldn't be affected by the change of HDD. Just backup everything, change drives, restore and you should be good to go.
