    Okay, since I've created this thread on the Everdrive forums, I thought this would be worth it here for you to show your latest 64DD creations, whether it's an F zero track, a Sim City city, or a Mario Artist creation. I'd love to see your uploads! I'll upload mine soon as an example.

    You mean the F zero editor? I think that's the game that actually HAS a save file. All the others use the disk itself to save (I only used the search tool on my windows 8 to search for .srm Then I searched Mario artist and it only came with the disks). I could be wrong though.

    I think the srm file for F-Zero is only for the cartridge side of the game, and not the Disk extention. So, I don't think you're able to save the tracks.

    The tracks get saved to the disk file, as do all 64DD saves, there isn't a separate file.

    Yes, Dezaemon and F-Zero X both have save files on the cartridge. Dezaemon allows you to load from it but not save back, and F-Zero X only saves track times, current completion, etc. like a normal game. All editor content is saved back to the disk image.

    "Disk saves" are disk images. Each type of disk has a certain amount of storage for saved data based on the disk's format, with the largest being just under half a disk in size and the smallest having no writable room. In addition, most of these games use the MFS filesystem for created data but reserve portions of it for additional saved data like completion, etc. When you look at the MFS directory these segments will be labeled "unusable" or some such nonsense.
