This probably goes against some rules or something but, I'm selling my Gizmondo collection. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=231256890213 Normally I wouldn't do something like this but, it's a pretty rare item and I'm sure you guys would appreciate the obscurity. If you don't know the story of the US nav it goes like this. They planned on releasing it in the US but didn't. It was sold on the German(i think) online store only. They extremely rare. I've never seen anyone sell theirs before. I would post this in the market but I can't. Maybe a mod can move it.
Maybe a mod can delete this thread until you contribute to the community for a bit before shilling your stuff. There's a reason you can't post to the marketplace...
Considering the contents of the OP, maybe this should have gone in the Ebay thread? (not hall of shame, the other one)
Well, the OP admits he's probably braking some rules and I would agree considering the conflict of interest. After all, it is his auction. Having such a low post count just re-enforces the idea that he's hoping to find some fat pidgin to fleece, given how people know AssemblerGames users are fairly generous when it comes to preserving rare and obscure items.
Rules aside, it's a cool item. I remember seeing a Gizmondo in CompUSA when they were still making them. The graphics were pretty crappy even for the time, but it was an interesting system nonetheless.
Most games looked like enhanced ports of n-gage games. However, Trailblazer looked really good. It was really easy to program for, and I think that led to mostly lazy ports. But for the time having something that could play video was a big deal. I was really blown away at the time.
