US US WTB: PS3 Cech A01 or B01

Hi, I'm looking for a backwards compatible ps3. It can be from the states or japan. I'm looking for one after a failed attempt at repairing a cech B01. I was told it was giving the error code for over heating, but it turned out they sold me a ylod ps3. I took it to a local tech shop but they only seemed to make it worse.
