A USB dongle that came as part of some PC software I purchased detects as new hardware when inserted. I was just wondering if there was some way to possibly copy the contents to create a backup?

    Any ideas?

My personal though is that it's a dongle and not a memorystick, so you probably would have to copy the hardware too.. thought I don't know to much about them.. I just use them ;)

Yea it was just me being a numpty heh. I was under the impression that the dongle would only allow the installation on 1 machine, but that wasn't the case as you can install it multiple times yet only have it operational on 1 machine at a time.
