I got a xna kit recently but no power supply so I've been doing a little reverse engineering. If you take apart the power supply and make this modification it will run. Beware though, if you ever short anything out it will probably never turn red, but for me this is better than nothing. Kit works like a charm now.. Just thought I would share.

Take apart the power brick and solder a wire between these two points. Any of the four pins on the one chip, and the other end goes to where the red wire connects coming from the console (5v).

Basically you just run a wire to bypass the safety check that it does to make sure its not pulling too much power. If you have a real cable ofc it would be a better idea, but this works in a pinch..

well, entertaiment is there. for quick testing it works, but I hope you find a higher rated powersupply when you use it longer and more :D

On a kit as expensive as that one, I really don't think that's a good idea...

If you're gonna do this better to do it on a 203 watt psu. Try to use a falcon psu for a prolonged period and one of your mosfets is gonna commit suicide lol
