User Poll: How many use the site via phone / tablet?

I voted never, although in truth it's about 5% mobile visit.

 

I've only been a member for a month but I always come here with the iPad every day.

 

When you say a mix of both, I assume you mean mobile and PC, correct?

 

I use the site via phone and PC everyday but I must say that I hate the "data friendly" versions of forums and sites for phones. I want it to look and feel just how it does on my PC. I noticed yesterday that the front page had changed when using my phone

 

Mostly PC, don't think I've ever logged onto this forum via tablet/phone yet.

 

Mostly PC. I do visit via mobile for at least 2 days out of the month.

 

I mainly use my PC but when I do use my phone I view it as a full site, mobile sites annoy me :/

If we had Tapatalk I probably would use it when I'm out... At the moment I barely use my phone on here.

 

Taptalk is bollocks. Phones are powerful these days. We don't need watered down versions of sites. Then again if you have a shitty capped contract then it may be of use I guess.

 

If you don't like the mobile version, go to Chrome settings and select "Request desktop version". Personally, I think it's OK because the forum is a pain to use on a phone, not least because of that registration nag image that doesn't scale like it should when you zoom in, taking up most of the screen.

 

I'm not a fan of watered down sites either, but it is easier to use. Push for PMs is a nice touch, especially for those who sell here. On a site like this, an option to use Tapatalk can't hurt.

Sadly not everyone can afford the best data plans for even regular internet use, let alone 3G.

 

Maybe make an app??

 

It's a bit of a pain to use this site on a phone. Buttons are so small that you have to zoom in really close to press them. Also, text boxes are often too large, and thus you end up having to scroll a lot when writing a reply. It would be nice to have a mobile version - which I think we did at some point, but it seems to be gone now.

 

I've only viewed the site a few times on a phone and tablet, I prefer a laptop for message boards.

 

PC 95% of the time.

Tablets would be my 2nd choice. I've tested the site on my phone before but it seems too partial.

 

i use sometimes my windows phone. But only for watching. Its not possible to reply a thread with windows mobile...

No, you dont need to pay for it.
