    Hey Guys

I was wondering if anyone here has an iphone and also uses Outlook. I'm thinking about buying an iPhone and it looks like it can handle POP accounts Step 2 is to see if it can sync with Outlook. I've found a few webpages that says it can, but nothing too specific, such as synching folders and such. And naturally I'm concerned that it's just not going to be 100% compatible in the way that I want it to be.

Anyone have any experience with it?

Thanks, but I don't use Exchange. I'd love it, but can't afford the setup....

iTunes will sync the account information from Outlook to the iPhone, but I will not sync the emails itself.

Also the iPhone by default won't delete mail from the server so you can download the message in outlook later even after you've looked at it on the iPhone.

Really? The websites I've been reading says it will sync the messages, or so I thought. And I know I read where the iPhone has an option of deleting email off of the server, keeping it for a week, or not deleting it at all. The thing is I read it from websites where people were having a problem with it working properly...heh.

You can change the option to delete email off of the server, but by default its set to never delete from the server.

And if it is supposed to sync messages, I've never see it done. And thats with a 3G iPhone, 3GS iPhone, and an 1G iPod Touch, and different combinations of iTunes and Outlook (XP, 2003, 2007, 2010).
