I love WWF No Mercy and ran across a site that has packs of CAWS in .n64 format. How would you be able to convert that for use on an Everdrive 64?

I admit that would be cool. I spent so much time on so many games to unlock content. But all these were made on original carts. Most of them do not use the controller pak so I would have to resort on finding saved games on the internet and upload them onto my Everdrive. A feature that could integrate downloaded save games would be awesome!

Open up the save in a hex editor, you'll notice that the actual save file is there and easy to get.. It's not very difficult to convert dex drive saves.

Can you break that down simply? I'm not adept at that sort of thing.

Once I get to feeling better, and I'm not in as much pain, I'll write a guide with pictures in the Nintendo section of the forum. Remember, the ED64 section of the forum doesn't mean it's for things related to the N64. Not to mention, it means KRIKzz will have more to moderate.. The guide will benefit those using emulators, ED64, 64drive, etc.

Find a dex drive save of Super Mario 64 from a site like gamefaqs, and get the regular save for the game off your SD card for your ED64; after you've done that, compare the two in a hex editor. You'll notice that the actual save data for the game is within the dexdrive save..
