    Hi there,

I have been researching how to get the best RGB signal from my PAL SNES, and many websites I have found suggest that you can use either the composite video or luma as the sync signal as the PAL SNES lacks the proper c-sync on the multi-out. I would prefer to use the luma signal if possible, as it apparantly is better than the composite video for this purpose.

This website tells me that if I want to use the composite video as sync, then it needs a 75ohm resistor between it and ground - but I can't find any info on whether any extra components are needed if using luma! Does anyone know if the resistor is still required to ground for the luma as sync option? Or can I just wire the luma to the sync pin and leave it at that?

    Thanks for any help!

Yes, you will need to put a 75 ohm resistor to ground on Luma, just like composite video.
