Hi everybody ! I've got a DevKit from a friend and i try to use it for testing developments. I saw the XNA capabilities but to tests homebrews i fell it expensive (49$ for a 4 months subscription, to use XNA transfert to a 360 retail version...) Can anyone help me to have a 360 neighborhood browser to send my tests to my kit ? Please help !! Thanks
All (at least most) PC XDK related programs are 'fingerprinted/watermarked', so these kind of apps aren't 'floathing' around. You can also transfer data to your XDK by connecting the HDD directly to your PC. There are various connection solutions out there.
Thnks for your help I've tryed to connect my sidecar to a xecuter connecivity kit but nothing happened... i've think first that the partitions type differ from retails format... i don't know why i don't see any partition... i think i should disconnect the HDD from the sidecar card and connect it directly like a classic hard drive... but i don(t like this solution For the XDK i think it's difficult but not impossible... To run applications on my 360 devkit should i have a specific firmware ? On mine i have a 1838 beta, i think this will cause troubleshoutings...?
You only need specific firmware/kernel depending on the software you use. Since you are trying to make your own; it should (probally) not matter, since you can chose your own needed kernel then? And otherwise just remove the sidecar and plug-in a retail hdd; and format that from the dashboard. And off you go.
