WELL. USPS has been exceptionally odd as far as tracking and shipping times go, at least in my area. I ordered a some game stuff a little bit ago and it was shipped on the 2nd of April. Last tracking update was April 3rd and it was just that it left its facility and was in transit in a state only 2 away from mine. Another case is a package I just shipped on Monday, yet it took 2 days to pick up on USPS' tracking even though I saw the mail person take it and scan it. Now its nearly in its destination town all of a sudden but is still supposed to be delivered on Wednesday of next week... WHAT? A final case is another package that was shipped on Friday of last week. USPS tracking shows it should have been delivered today yet its still in transit from the first city. Am I just unlucky or is this happening for anyone else?
Your post office sounds like they are disorganized. Use the post office the next town over they are putting the mail for in region in the wrong bins. Most likely a new employee doing things wrong.
probably just post office being lazy. my neighbor from like three houses has brought me my mail about five times cause the damn mail guy keeps delivering to his home by mistake smh
But whatever you do, don't mention that your taxes pay for their jobs - Lost mail and packages could become more common (if they're spiteful).
I had to go in person once to complain when my mail was marked delivered but wasn't in my mailbox. Over the phone wasn't getting it done. They were polite about it, called the mailman and had him find my package. It was just a pair of tweezers, but I needed them really bad that day to repair a device.
