Do computer/video monitors count as TVs? I have 3 of those plus my 47" LCD in my bedroom, so that ought to be like the future twicefold.

I was thinking it be two similar flat screen TVs (ones that are marketed as TVs, not monitors) in a living room setup. That's just odd.

I know people that got that. Mainly young adults in apartment that both wanna play their games at the same time. Also one TV is odd, two is even, three is odd; and so on...

There's really no difference between monitors and TVs now, except for the types of inputs and different menu systems.

    I beg to differ.

It's getting harder and harder to find a large screen TV that ISN'T a smart TV.

However, you'll be hard pressed to find a "Smart Monitor". There's just no point, given that monitors are never far from a computer- but a TV may be.
And a side note- you don't find monitors (desktop ones, not those display monitors for stores) in large sizes.

tl;dr TVs are scaled up monitors with an integrated media device.

I guess that's true, but not all TVs are "Smart TVs". I just meant that the screen itself is no different from a TV. TVs often have other features like more inputs and video streaming options, but the display itself is virtually identical. It's true that most monitors aren't very big, but that makes sense - if you're only sitting a few feet away from it, you don't need to be that big. However, they've had 27" monitors for a while now, and they're even starting to produce 32" 4K computer monitors. And they make 19" and 22" "TVs" as well.
