Like a mentioned in another post, I received my NDEV with a disc that contained over 3GBs of various files, manuals, and programs. I'm not one that really knows what to do with most of this stuff so I took some screen shots of the contents for the community. If you see anything in the screenshots you would like a copy of let me know in this post and I'll do my best to get it to you. If I'm not allowed to shared this information for legal reasons, please someone let me know and I won't. Thanks!

Your RVT-H seems to have been pulled out straight from work, minus the current work.
I'm not in WII dev but it's an very intersting package, like what's its aviable on DS: full SDK + doc and original license (which is probably endend).
    Nice found !
I don't know what is the latest revision of the SDK "publicy" aviable but it must be a fresh one.
It will certainly be very interesting for many homebrewers.

I'm currently working on getting a copy of Windows to make everything work. The only items I've been able to open so far are all the PDFs, which as a Nintendo fan is interesting to read.

I'm not much into Wii (or Nintendo for that matter), but if you feel like sharing these I'll be happy to download :p

The Dropbox links are dead, but this definitely seems like something I'd be interested in. Care to reupload the listing?

Did you manage to get a Windows install to get it to work? :)

Sorry about the dead links I removed the pictures from DropBox. I sold the kit and the software to go with it. It would up to the new owner if they want to upload the goods.

What a shame, thanks. I don't suppose they are on ASSEMblergames?

Yeah mate, I got the kit. Unfortunately when the package arrived the discs where both cracked.
The disc that contains the SDK 2.1 and 3.2 is readable because it only had a crack on the rim and the data was not written that far on the disc.
The disc that contains the SDK 4.5 and all of the other data is much worse. It has 4 large cracks going from the center of the disc to within a few milometers of the edge.
One half of the disc is un-damaged though. If anyone knows of any software that may be able to recover some of the data from the disc let me know.
I have never tried to recover data from a damaged disc only hard drives so I don't know if it would even be possible with a disc this bad.
If I can get any usable data from this disc I will be happy to share it with the community as long as its not breaking any rules.

Here are some poor images to give an example of the damage.

The cracks are not that noticeable from the front, especially with my crappy cam.

Be very careful: a cracked disc can possibly damage your DVD drive, or worse.
If you still want to proceed, your best bet is with a DVD drive you don't care for.
You can try various methods of 'filling' up the cracks: I heard toothpaste works pretty decently, but you might want to do some research on that.
If you can get it recognized (doesn't have to be readable) in your PC, try making a full copy using ISOBuster. It can try to repair some data itself, but even if not, some of us can try to analyze the raw data it has managed to recover.
    Good luck.

Some other tools you can try are CD Recovery Toolbox, or the dd tool on a Linux live CD. dd actually copies the raw data.
If all fails and you still want to recover the data, you might want to consider a professional data recovery service. They tend to be pricy though.

I didn't think you had the SDK 4.5 backed up but I have sent you a pm anyway.
    Fingers crossed guys.
If not I will try to recover what I can from the disc, I do have loads of drives that I don't hardly use so I don't mind risking damaging one of them.

And that's why a backup before shipping is a very good idea! Well played, there! ;)

Why were all of rcmadiax's posts in this conversation blanked out 8 hours ago?

Would a mod care to restore the information?

Was something shady going on that would make other members wary?

Mass deletions of one side of a convo always looks suspicious.

    He deleted it himself.

I agree it is in very poor taste.

It's not just in this thread (which seems to deal with something he sold), he's also deleted posts in his sale threads and elsewhere on the board...
