I have a dead Vectrex that measures only around 5VAC on the output of the transformer (on the power switch input), this seems to be a little on the low side. I would've expected something around 9VAC and up, could somebody confirm this?

Thanks, but I've found the part number, it seems to be an 18V/CT, so I should be getting either 9 or 18, but not 5.

Is that in circuit of floating out put voltage you are reading?
Pull it out of circuit and test if you haven't already
