Well, as some of you may or may not know, I enjoy a bit of homebrew game dev'ing. Nothing spectacular, but I try.

Anyway, my latest project is a vertical shooter. Now, the current build is far from a complete copy, however I want to get some testing done on the cross platform compatability of it (as in one of my other projects, a bug meant it wouldn't render on OSX).

So, if you have five minutes free, or are just bored, please give it a test! Respond here with any problems along with your Computer Spec and OS details.

It requires the Jave Runtime Edition 5.0 available via this link

Here is the link for the windows version
Here is the link for the Linux/OSX Version.

    Thanks for your time!

Well, it runs smooth if not slow (music is fine) or is it meant to be running slow? The right scrolling wall sometimes has square chunks musing out of it. No enemies at all (maybe there's not meant to be any?)

I ran it on a crappy celeron 1.4ghtz with 258 MB memory. No graphic cards apart from the one built on to the mother board. I'm not a PC gamer so I have no use for one you see.

    Thanks for results so far!

A few notes I left out!

Yeah, the right wall is supposed to have gaps. It was for testing "null" space in the tile map. It isn't optimised at all so it may run slow on some setups. I've still been trying to implement a proper FPS counter for accurate testing (Should be in the next build).

    Anywho, keep it coming guys!
