According to SegaXtreme, Sega is to release a Mac OS X version of Puyo Puyo Fever in Japan this June. Although this might be interesting for the Mac fans here on the board (oh techfury, where art thou?), I was rather pleasantly surprised by the bundled controller:

    OMG t3h w000t!!11 :smt043 :smt040 :smt033
Am I the only one who thinks that is *very* cool? Also, would be the best controller to use with CPS emulation :)

Seeet an saturn controller with usb connection.

Hmmm i wonder if it could be used on a PS2 seeing as it has 2 usb ports on the frontside (imagines playing metal slug and kof with this pad :smt040 )

hopefully the mac version inc.controller also reaches europe/america... since I'm interested in buying an powerbook (although that will take some time before I've got the money for it) ,... playing a game like puyo puyo fever on the powerbook would make it fantastic :)

Two days ago I was wandering the japanese Sega page and I was amazed at this info. And they seem to have more games schedule for the Mac OS X, but I don't have more info on that since I don't know japanese and Babelfish wasn't very helpful :smt043
I also found out that they have published Sega Rally 2 and Sega Marine Fishing for windows. It's amazing how we never hear about Sega PC games

Doesn't anyone else find this bizarre, as Sega's home computer software is mainly Win32 stuff? More power to them... just another weird idea by Sega it seems (which is why we all love them).
