    Video CD for 3DO FZ-1

Does anyone know how much a Video CD Adapter for the 1st Fz-1 3DO model would be worth today? I can't find it anywhere... and most fan site i've been reading either say its super rare or unreleased lol

Video CD Adapter (or "Adaptor" as the box says...) FZ-FV1 with the original box...

from what I saw on Yahoo Japan it goes between 5000+ and 9000+ yen unboxed... :(

might be cheaper to get Samsung 3DO as I believe it comes with VCD adaptor...?

well I was asking because I do have one but couldnt find how much it would be worth now... If this is a japan-only piece of hardware, why is there some FRENCH on the box, beside japanese and engrish?

The one on yahoo auction right now is FZ-FV1A, the second release, supporting VCDs 2.0, I have is the very first one, FZ-FV1...

3DO was region free so that would explain those multi-language... :p
I'd guess Panaosnic VCD would be compatible with both Panasonic 3DO but not other 3DO?

Each 3DO needs a specific vcd adapter. Fz1 is different from the one for Fz-10 and Goldstar

I picked up mine for around 4000 yen in Japan - boxed. But that was a good find in osaka, same as the 3do arcade stick - you just don't see them these days.

As for compatability, they literally don't fit any other system than they one they were intended for, one way of doing things I suppose!

I sold a complete FV-1 a year ago for $150. The FZ-10 one sold for $90-100 and the memory unit I sold for $150. I've never seen a 1A anywhere.

Hmm, I bought a FZ-10 one new on eBay for $17 shipped last year. It works with the Sanyo TRY as well as FZ-10. I'm fairly certain both VCD adapters will work on all 3 Panasonic/Sanyo models, not certain about the Goldstar.

I'm pretty sure that the FZ-1 model and the FZ-10 model are not compatible, and neither is the Goldstar. The FZ-1 model had a large power supply and I believe the FZ-10 one does not. Either way, I would hunt down the memory unit before I'd hunt down the VCD adapters, as it is much more useful. Just make sure it has the CD!

Yeah the FZ-1 and FZ-10 models arent compatible with each other, the 1st one is twice the size and need external AC power...

I currently have the one for my goldstar 3do but have been unable to find the one for the fz-1. I have seen it on ebay maybe once in the few past years but the only time I had seen it was when someone had it with a 3do system and a ton of games (including the gun) and those auctions always go high.
