    Hey Guys

I made a site with galleries of most of the hardware and and accessories and some software that I've had/owned/sold from Japan. There are about 200 galleries in all, and probably a couple of thousand pictures overall.

    http://www.japan-games.com/Database/index.html

About 90% of the site is special editions, Japan only editions, etc. Hopefully I can continue to add to it over time. It was taking me too long to start the research for my next generation site so in the meantime I made this instead.

It's made to be simple, just a long list with links. Each link takes you to the gallery. That's about all I can say.

    Thanks,
    Eric

Nice site, very nice. I love looking at console piccies.

Hadn't seen that Vatvla V-Saturn before! Another one to add to my wants list.

(A couple of navi piccies 5 and 7 didn't work for me btw but otherwise all I looked at was sweet)

Thanks for that Japan-Games.com, that is an awesome resource.

Only slight issue for me, is that a couple of images do not load.

But other than that it is a great site and quite a bit of gear that I had not seen before, especially in such detail.

    Hey there

Thanks for the comments. The information (data) will be coming next. I'm still not sure how everything will look/work in the end. It will take some time to plan and build and my mind changes daily on what it should include and how it should look.

The gallery is just a simple Photoshop generated gallery. I stumbled on it while I was looking for a thumbnail maker. It's all automated...

    Laters,
    Eric

...and BTW.... I checked the links and the thumbs but I haven't checked every single picture in the gallery. That will take some time. So expect some blank photos in some galleries until I finish it all off...

Very nice, good work. What's the deal with the laserdiscs? Are they games, or just movies?

The Sega and SNK discs are video "movies" so to speak....they just show the gameplay. They have different chapters for different fighters and matches, etc.

The LaserActive LDs (Rocket Coaster, Pyramid Patrol) are from the Pioneer LaserActive A-100 laserdisc player. They are playable games. I've had quite a few of them over the years but I don't seem to have the pictures for them. I actually had more pics from my first year in the biz but the CDR I burned them to isn't able to read anymore...bummer.

Well I've had a few versions of the page. Those pictures are all mine so if you've seen them before then it probably was my site. I did give a CD of some pictures a lot time ago to a German site who promised to put my name on them. They did that for a month, then took the name off..heh. Lesson learned...

Tatsujin, Barry Ling has a page but it's not in Japanese... That's all I can think of.
