I just connected the JAMMA board that I received, and it works but I get a scrambled image. Anyone know the problem??

That's almost exactly akin to saying 'My car doesn't work' and expecting people to know the problem right off

How about some more info? What board is it? How is the image 'scrambled'? Are any of the socketed chips loose/missing? If you press down on all the socketed chips in turn does anything change? Is it overheating? Is one of the components staying cool while the rest get hot?

Well It's scrambled and black and white as well. It is the 100 in 1 Vertical Games from Cosmicco. I just took it out of the box so as far as I know nothing is missing. Someone else on another board said that it could be the sync or horizontal/vertical hold of the TV. So I want to know where that is. I have a Daewoo. And this is the reply that Cosmicco sent:

100 in 1 will have attached photo around 15 second and wait more 10 second will be normal.

It seems like I am supposed to wait and I did that, but it is still the same. So I want to maybe try the image quality of the TV if I can figure out where it is.

i will just assume you've built yourself a jamma adaptor that hooks up to your tv via scart.

    1. what country are you living in? if you have a pal tv set, it might be incompatible with 60hz rgb. whats the exact model of your tv?
you have to be a bit more precise and give details here, otherwise theres no way for us to know where your problem is.

    2. did you connect the fast and slow blanking signals on the scart connector?
they can used to automatically switch your tv set into rgb mode as soon as your board powers up. make sure you're feeding the right voltages for rgb mode!
you can look them up in the hardware book. (i think its hardwarebook.net)

Are you sure the Jamma connector is connected properly?
I made the mistake of connecting the parts side to the solder side once and got a similar result that you're describing.

Everything is fine now. I was connecting it with my supergun all this time, and it didn't work but when I connected it to my cab apparently it was fine. So there's some difference between my supergun and cab.
