I Swear I will find this guy and rob him. I used to buy up RPGs and never play them. But I have a resolution with myself not to buy another RPG until I finish the ones I have.
I buy games with no intention of playing them. It's true. I have a bunch of Xbox 1 games my mom's friend sold me. they're still shrink wrapped. I have a few games from Best Buy's bargain bin I haven't unwrapped for my 360 and Wii. Granted I have already rented them prior...
I used to do this, particularly when the Dreamcast was discontinued in the US. Absolute worst thing you can do...led me burn out and lose interest in gaming until the Xbox came out. Then my interest was again renewed.
it takes soo much discipline for me to not buy games until I've played the ones I own. I'm always stopping myself, and putting games back on the store shelves. JUST SAY NO.
I do it because I'll play them eventually. My back log got bigger when I got married, because now I have all HER games too. Like EVERY Devil May Cry game! I started playing through them last week! My MW3 clan/Airsoft team buddies are complaining I haven't been playing MW3 in like 2 months!
I've played almost every game I own at least once, but in some cases that's all - I play it once and then never again. I could probably sell 100 games and it would make no difference. I own a lot of games that are pure shit.
